My daughter passed away at 7 months due to SIDS. When she passed I was so confused thought it only happened to small newborn infants. Dr told me it can affect children all the up to 2 years if age. Please keep that in mind. I don't want anyone going through what I am going through. And no she didn't sleep with blankets bottle binky stuffed animals or bumpers. It can happen.

Out n about buggy is the absolute best for every terrain and cheaper than most other similar ones. Normal travel cots are fine you just need to get a mattress for it! I have a folding one. The chicco next to me is a much better bed for next to you at night. Also works really well as a travel cot when baby is young.

OMG the Doona was the best best item I ever had bought in my life, I did get the small bag that hangs in the handle bar. Best thing ever! I’m sorry you didn’t use it.

It would be good to insert snap shots of pictures on everything you're talking about. Great video though and informative, thanks x

The doona car seat performed terribly in safety testing, so while it’s handy it definitely not something I’d ever put my baby in. Even if it were a safe car seat it’s still not recommended to have baby in a car seat for very long so it’s not a great option from that point of view either.

Is the Tripp trapp in hazy gray? So many colors and greys to choose from.

This is so useful! Though, I would get the Stokke Steps, instead of Trip Trap. The baby insert is a 2 in 1, where it also is a sitter, when you take it off.

These are all the most expensive versions of every category 😂😂😂 Cool to see in a fun way but not super helpful for me, personally. I’m definitely not going to be able to keep up with that kind of aesthetic when I need baby items! Lol

A doona is not meant to be used a a stroller... it’s a more convenient way of getting the baby in and out of doc appointments, if u need to run small errands, etc. it’s also dangerous to keep a baby in any car seat for a long period of time because it does damage their spinal development.

The ever collection is pretty cool :) cloud q and priam are awesome, we are now upgrading to sirona so hopefully that will work well too 😅 love nuna sena air, using it as play pan now. The only one I disagree with you is sleepyhead. It’s notnas much how well your baby sleeps, but in what. My baby is brilliant sleeper and always was, but as he always slept in his cot or sena air, it has so much space that it was nice for him to stay bit more close and cozy :) good video though :)

Hi Fleur, things I loved and found super useful (especially making the transition from one to two children):

Bugaboo Donkey is GENIUS. Can fit one or two kids in there and it just pushes like a DREAM. We live in the countryside too and it has no problems with gravel, grass anything as the wheels are like tyres!

Babybjorn bowls, forks and spoons (and their bucket bibs) are a godsend when they start to learn to feed themselves.

Britax Römer advansafix iv r car seat - is the new one they just brought out. fantastic as it goes from 9 months to 12 years - grows with the child!

                                                                Hope this helps. X

Once he goes into the bassinet (he still sleeps in a sleep pod) and then into his crib, we’ll try to get use out of the whole monitor system

I grew up in a family with 6 kids and we all had our own Tripp Trapp chair. We all started out with the little tray table on it and the in between te legs secure piece and then we used it with the little shelf and the big shelf for our feet. I remember our mom would check the chairs every Christmas and every birtday and sometimes she would put the shelves one setting lower. It was always a big deal because mom would say "Look! You have grown again!" and we would be so happy to be taller. The great thing about those chairs is that they are so adjustable that kids eat in a healthy position. A lot of 6 year olds are either too low or to high to the table and it's really bad for the growing process to sit in a bad position. The 4 oldest have all used their chairs until we were at least 16 and my two little brothers are in their teens but they still use their Tripp Trapp because you can take out the little shelf and use the foot shelf as the sitting shelf so you have a normal adult chair. We all put stickers on our chairs that we would get from friends or from notebooks and we'd hang self made braids on it. I have to say, it's a really great investment if you use it to its full potential. If I had kids, I would totally buy them Tripp Trapp chairs as well.

Apparently my mum was sceptical of them but my dad really wanted one for me and they both ended up loving it so much that they got a second one for my sister when she was born. I hope you get as much use out of yours and I got out of mine!
